Our Hiring Policies

To ensure equity of experience for both our corps members and our partner principals during our hiring and placement process, we follow and refer to the Hiring Policies outlined below. 

ONE

Corps Members must have official passing scores (or exemption documentation) for ALL assigned GACE exams before TFA MATL can schedule CMs for interview opportunities. 

fiVE

Corps members must accept the first job they are offered regardless of location, district, salary, etc.

TWO

Corps Members must submit a degree conferred official transcript to the GaPSC and the Metro Atlanta Onboarding team, as well as a TFA resume to the Onboarding Team.

Corps members must complete all hiring/district paperwork and training in a timely manner and meet all background check requirements.

THREE

Corps members must engage in interview preparation through TFA, and attend all interviews scheduled for them.  

​

Seven

Corps members must respond to all communications within 3 business days.

FOUR

Corps members may only attend interviews scheduled for them by the TFA Metro Atlanta Onboarding Team. Corps Members may NOT source their own interview opportunities.

Corps members must exhibit professional behavior in all TFA settings.
